Our Team

  • David Shentu - Managing Partner & Principal

    David Shentu is a real estate entrepreneur and principal managing partner at Brookeast Capital LLC. David has been investing in real estate since 2008, with a variety of investment experience in different asset types from residential to commercial, property management, and value-add repositioning. He brings his years of expertise at finding underperforming assets, strategically creating different deal structures and utilizing various funding sources to create value for investors. David is seasoned at evaluating, acquiring, managing and operating rental properties and has excellent track records of generating and maintaining positive cash flow holdings. In the multi-family projects, David plays the important roles at building broker relations, acquisitions, coming up with business plans, doing due diligence, working with lenders for loan and closing process, and participating in asset management with PM. Prior to real estate investing, David was a professional in the engineering field and information & technology field for a total of 15 years. He has a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering as well as in Computer Science & Technology.

  • Michelle Wang - Managing Partner & Principal

    Michelle Wang is a passionate real estate investor for over a decade. Joining as the principal managing partner at Brookeast Capital, LLC. She applies her over 15-year experience in management and operational excellence into the real estate business. She has sound records of renovating and value-adding to reposition different types of properties. She is very experienced at evaluating and underwriting multifamily apartment deals and has worked closely with other apartment syndicators for the past years.  In the multi-family apartment projects, Michelle plays the important roles at underwriting deals, coming up with business plans and capex budgets, doing due diligence, discussing with lenders for loan programs and asset managing with PM. Prior to being a real estate professional, she held management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a Ph. D degree and an MBA degree, and has the reputation of excellent people management skills as well as timely delivery of projects on tight timelines, which is very applicable to multifamily acquisitions and management.

  • Richard Shentu - Associate

    Richard Shentu serves as a vital team member at Brookeast Capital, specializing in the technological and marketing aspects of the firm. With a background in property management and financial analysis, he brings a unique blend of hands-on operational experience and data-driven decision-making to the role.

    Driven by a passion for innovation, Richard is also deeply engaged in exploring the intersection of real estate and technology, leveraging AI and data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency. A dedicated advocate for creating opportunities, Richard is committed to building lasting relationships and empowering clients with tailored strategies that lead to long-term success. Prior to getting into real estate, Richard graduated from Villanova University with a degree in finance and real estate.
